Full-time Connectivity

Voice Services

The following features are all included in the telephone service offered to guests and residents.  Connection to the service is accomplished by use of an ATA device that connects a regular phone to a broadband router.  The ATA device can be plugged into any high-speed connection – anywhere in the world – thereby connecting the phone to our network and receiving dial tone.  Combined with Virtual numbers, this is a great service for RVers.  Service will be priced as a flat monthly fee that can be decreased with a bundled package.  Service includes unlimited local and long distance calling in North America.

All features can be configured and turned on or off via Connectifi VoiceSM accessed through the Web.

The following glossary provides an overview of some of the more common features of Connectifi VoiceSM :

Automatic Callback

Allows you to request notification when a busy line within your group becomes available. A distinctive ring will be used to notify you when the user is available.

Call Forwarding Always

Call Forwarding allows you to forward all your incoming calls to a different phone number, such as your home office or cell phone. You can also make your office phone emit a short ring burst to inform you if you are next to your phone when the call is forwarded by using the Ring Reminder.

Call Forwarding Selective

Call Forwarding Selective allows you to forward specific calls matching your pre-defined criteria to a different phone number. Use this service to forward calls from your manager, a family member, or an important customer to your cell phone, alternate business phone, or home phone.

Call Waiting

Call Waiting allows you to receive another call while you are on the phone. You can turn it on or off for all calls and then selectively turn it back on or off using the feature access codes.

Do Not Disturb

Allows you to send your calls directly to your voice messaging box without ringing your phone. In addition, you can make your office phone emit a short ring burst to inform you when the call is being sent to voice messaging by using the Ring Reminder.

Flash Call Hold

Flash Call Hold allows you to dial a feature access code to hold and retrieve calls. To hold the call, flash the phone (click the flash button or click the hang-up button once) then dial the Flash Call Hold feature access code. You can then make another call while the first call is held. Subsequent flashes followed by the Flash Call Hold feature access code cause the active and held calls to toggle. That is the active call becomes held and the held call active.

Flash Call Transfer

Flash Call Transfer allows you to transfer a call while using a simple phone without call control capability.  To transfer a call, flash the phone (click the flash button or click the hang-up button once) then dial the number you would like to transfer the call to. Once the transfer number answers, click flash again and the two callers are connected. If you have Flash Three-Way Calling, instead of transferring on the second flash, you are connected in a conference call. Once in the conference call, if you hang up the phone, the callers remain talking to each other, in effect, transferred.

Flash Three-Way Call

Start a conference call when using a simple phone without call control capability. To conference a call, flash the phone after you have made the first call (click the flash button or click the hang-up button once) then dial the second number of the person you would like to complete the conference with. Once the second number answers, click flash again and the conference call will be established. To end the conference, hang up. If you have Flash Call Transfer, the conference does not end when you hang up since the callers are transferred together.

Outlook Integration / Click-to-Dial

Outlook Integration enables you to integrate your personal contacts in Microsoft Outlook with your Connectifi VoiceSM Call Manager. Using the Outlook Contacts tab in the Connectifi VoiceSM Call Manager, you can perform a search of your personal Outlook contacts by name or company. Once the desired contact is located, you may click-to-dial one of the contact's phone numbers, or may choose to display the contact's vCard by clicking on the name.
When receiving a call, your Microsoft Outlook contact database is searched for a match of the caller's phone number. If the number matches, the icon next to the incoming calling name is highlighted and rolling the mouse over it gives the caller's name. In addition, you have the option to click the icon to open the caller's vCard. You can have new Outlook journal entries automatically opened for incoming and/or outgoing calls.

Connectifi VoiceSM Call Manager

Connectifi VoiceSMCall Manager provides a web-based tool you use to customize your services. Connectifi VoiceSMCall Manager allows you to initiate, manipulate and receive calls, as well as access your user directories including Microsoft Outlook.

Phone Status Monitoring

Phone Status Monitoring allows you to select members in your group to be monitored using Attendant Console applications.

Remote Office

Remote Office allows you to use your home phone, your cell phone or even a hotel phone as your business phone. By using the Connectifi VoiceSMCall Manager, you can make phone calls from this remote phone and have them billed to your business. This service also directs all calls coming to your business phone to ring the remote office phone.

Simultaneous Ring

Simultaneous Ring allows you to list numbers you would like to ring in addition to your business phone when you receive a call. This feature is helpful when you are not at your desk but you would like your cell phone to ring when you get a call. You can also turn off simultaneous ringing when you are at your desk on a call.
